On Friday, June 2, at 11 a.m., the Visitor Complex will host a panel discussion titled “Star Trek: Where Science Meets Imagination” in the Universe Theater.
The esteemed panelists for “Star Trek: Where Science Meets Imagination” include Jess Bush, a talented visual artist, and actress known for her work on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Morgan Gendel, an accomplished screenwriter who has contributed to the success of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, and A.C. Charania, NASA’s Chief Technologist, who has expertise and insight from the forefront of real-world space exploration. The panelists will delve into the profound influence of science fiction on genuine space exploration projects and touch upon the impending launch of SpaceX CRS-28, scheduled for Saturday, which will transport groundbreaking solar array technology (known as iROSA), with various science experiments and supplies, to the International Space Station.
